Liberian-flagged bulkcarrier SCL ELISE (IMO 9313421), en-route to Flensburg, suffered machine failure on the Kiel Canal at Kudensee and allided with pilings on Oct. 24 2009. The pilings were severely damaged. The vessel was berthed at Kiel for surveys.
